Any advice on developing a career strategy? I eventually want to be a Chief Data Scientist or Chief Data Officer. Right now, I am a data scientist. I had a recent offer for a state government position in a talent acquisition role but I’d be taking a $25K pay cut. I grew up in a nuclear family away from extended relatives who were never really close. Parents were either emotionally unavailable or distant. All I've wanted for myself was a big loving family to call my own.. my parents are unaccepting of my sexuality & my partners family is also quite fucked up so she's isn't super close to them either.
