I'm getting emails daily from recruiters with available roles in Houston, and I don't even live there anymore. You may be getting caught up in ATS filters if you don't currently have a Houston address .
I’ve changed my address to my parents address in Katy. Would you potentially mind sharing your resume with me or taking a look at mines? I’d love the opportunity to compare mines to a resume that’s gaining attention.
What does the facilities supervisor part of your role come in? What industry are you in? I wonder if companies aren't making a connection better what you do and their company/position.
I recently met with someone who was getting rejected for every recruiter role despite having 2 years experience. But her title was some generic program coordinator role that no one would see as recruitment. With a few tweaks, she was able to get recruiter interviews.
I work at a smaller nonprofit organization with 35 employees. I had been doing solely HR Generalist work until the beginning of this year. My company added on the responsibilities of a Facilities Supervisor to my HR role. So I am essentially an HR Generalist who also manages a facilities maintenance team. I fear that my title discourages recruiters and they may overlook my resume because of the facilities portion of my job, but that’s my title.
