So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?

They exist. I have interviewed (and received a couple offers at smaller companies). I have ultimately stayed big 4 (at least for now), largest reason was the company just was not a fit for me and I wasn’t ready to make that move - just not enough extra money to give up on things I enjoy about my current position.
What would you consider a good exit opportunity? Also, mind if I ask what sort of tax you do?
I’m in tax so I really only know this market but from my perspective theres plenty of exit opportunities but they really depend on where you sit in Deloitte.
You can go to most industry in tax positions if you do BTS or MTS but the more niche service lines may have trouble accessing these. You can switch to a law firm - best service lines for this would be M&A, Controversy, MTS. The more niche roles in PA may be able to find more niche roles in industry (mobility tax/equity/international tax/ transfer pricing roles)
