General question: can you change the culture of a 4,000 personal organization in 3 months? I think you can set up a framework but real cultural change takes time. And Nov/Dec doesn’t seem like the ideal time to do it. I ask because trying to find a way to present this to my boss with proof points.

What companies use product principles in their development process. LinkedIn is big on this - every PRD lists out “product principles” at the top and they’re heavily discussed. I think it’s an odd part of the product culture at LinkedIn and an curious what other companies do this.

I am looking to gain certification or other credentialing in diversity and inclusion, not only because it would look good on my resume both for future job-search purposes and also to become better educated in this area, which is growing in importance. I looked at SHRM's "Inclusive Workplace Culture Specialty Credential" and got a bit of "sticker shock" at the cost - $1,655.00 for members. Does anyone have other suggestions on training/credentialing in this area?

My first cross team interaction was with contractors. I felt like ZS is similar to any other IT company keeping the culture in mind. After a few days, I have had a chance to talk with ZSers and I must say you guys are one of the best people I have interacted with in my career. So empathetic and helpful. Cheer guys. How can we inculcate the same behaviour in contractors?
Does anyone have a work culture that prioritizes WLB? Sometimes I feel like it's all talk for branding.

Recently just swapped big4’s mainly for money / focus on work. Would it be career suicide to move to Arthur D Little (HCLS strategy), for another 40% raise..? Trying to talk myself out of it but the work, team, and comp seem appealing
Ok be honest, candidates. I really love this set of questions, I’ve been considering shifting my current interview style to these questions - I think they really give you an idea of who this person would be within the work setting. But the questions almost feel too deep for a recruiter to ask. What would you think if a recruiter took a different path and asked these questions instead of the usual ones? https://blog.shrm.org/blog/9-interesting-interview-questions-that-actually-reveal-a-lot-about-candidat

For folks exiting to FAANG / Product at start ups or really any hot company. How do you go about networking to get the interview? Do you apply then cold email someone you may have an “in”with, or are you picking say 10 companies and then having warm contacts there that you’ll ping when you see a job. I’ve been passively looking for jobs but zero luck, I only want to leave for the right fit. Big 4 here so feel my brand won’t auto get me an interview like mbb/t2
Welcome to Whose Job is it Anyways! Where the deliverable is made up and the utilization doesn't matter.
Signed a freelance contract, but work is ‘paused’ due to vendor sourcing. Most days i don’t do anything job-related. Should I still bill the agency for the hours they’re wasting with me? Or do I only bill for the hours I’m working on the actual project?
