What are your thoughts on invoking the rule of sequestration at a deposition in a case in state court? I have heard some attorneys argue that it is inapplicable, while others have argued that it does apply.

When a firm increases base first year salaries, do they do something for counsel and staff attorneys or do they get left behind?

I have anxiety and I’ve found that since my work is never actually finished at the end of the day (looming deadlines for every work product) that I just constantly feel like I have the weight of the upcoming work on my shoulders. Are there tech type jobs where the work is actually done at the end of the day and you start fresh the next day?

Hi there had question about Deloitte referrals… had a friend refer me for management position and she had a manager she knows refer me as well. Strat Comm 8 yrs exp. Was turned down on one of the referred positions and never heard anything on the other. They’re both saying what they’re hearing internally is teams are understaffed, but both have said no one they’ve referred in months have even been considered for interviews. Is this just bad timing or am I missing something?
