How does that compare to other positions (staff to senior and manager to SM)? Is it the same across service lines?

I believe staff to senior is 5k. Correct me if I'm wrong

Manager to SM is 9.5k

^ sorry EY4. You are so wrong. It's 7.5 for Manager to SM. I do wish it is 9.5 though.

It used to be $8k when did it switch to $7.5k?

Seriously sometimes I feel that, it would be better to have a smaller workforce like in banking, make people work even harder and pay them like bankers - 100-150k bonus

Lol so yah I got promo to manager this year and got 10% standard bonus and 16% annual performance bonus.....soooo let that sink in folks.
Pwc manager promo bonus is 20% if ur s lifer and 10% if ur experienced hire

PWC 1 what was your pay before promotion?

I've been interviewing with some companies, and now I have to decide between JPMorgan Chase and Globant.

Globant is more innovative, and has remote work. I will enter to work with a Sillicon Valley startup based in San Francisco. The tech stack is React, Nextjs, AWS, and a serverless architecture.

JPM is semi remote, and less innovative. The tech stack Java, SpringBoot and AWS. But I'd do more migration tasks, like dockerize projects and pass them to kubernetes. What would you choose?

Hello! I’m gearing up for my year end comp conversation and I’d like to be a better idea of what people are making to ask for a raise. I work for a large asset manager and sell alternative investments (PE, RE, Credit, Infra etc) to RIAs, family offices, and multi family offices. I’m currently an associate, but am hoping to get VP this cycle. Any insight on what your comp looks like and how it’s structured would be super helpful!

HR opinion: Do I have any leverage as a hospital nurse case manager in negotiating earned time? She kind of got offended but we ended on a good note to split things. It went well for a couple weeks but now it's back to normal. She never takes out her card and only venmos me if I send her the request. She lets Venmos sit for weeks before paying them. I still let a lot of things slide.

Are private companies easier to work at than public companies in accounting? We have such an accelerated close deadline at the publicly traded company I’m at now, I really hate the inflexible tight deadlines and analysis seems to drag on forever after that. We also close AP/AR very early in the month yet that doesn’t stop payments/receipts from happening so we’re constantly adjusting our accruals until the end of month. Do private companies start their close after the month actually ends?
