I’ve done PI work my entire career for over 10 years. I’ve worked in state and federal courts and I’ve traveled around the country doing MDL work and bellwether trials. How much emphasis do you put on the company culture before accepting the offer?
I have an offer with 30% pay increase and will offer me a D role in publicly traded company (IPO in 2020), but I have read very polarized reviews on glassdoor (e.g., micro manage, yes sir mentality, long hours, unstructred)

Also, their benefits are not very attractive (e.g., 2 week paternity, 3.5% 401k match, unlimited vaca -- which means you have to take permission and have to feel guilty if you take off longer)

Just got another rejection... Is exiting to FAANG or MB really this hard? Trying to go tech.. or mbb, but not getting anywhere. Interviewed with Google, Amazon, Cisco, McKinsey, and a few others and every-time there is something that is not a match... are the hiring managers looking for like 100% match?
