I’m considering moving to Philly from DC at the end of the year. Ideally, I would love to move to NYC but as someone that WFH I value having a nice apartment/more space. What are the pros and cons? Is the dating pool in Philly really that small?

I’m heading into a final interview next week. The role I’m applying to works directly with two executive team members and the CEO (the only hybrid employees). I currently work in a fully remote company and already have two trips planned for later this year where it’s too long to ask for PTO in its entirety because I was planning to work/PTO combo. Any tips or recommendations how I can lay out a plan without asking for a LOA and adversely affect the team and work remotely when starting the role?

Hello, currently looking ideas and mentoring to start up a business to import coffee from the Caribbean. The main idea is to import coffee to sell to retail stores or an exclusive market for coffee lovers.

Might be an odd question: we have multiple great ideas and sources of funding. Would it make sense to build out a portfolio of the companies as a fund or to build them directly? Concerned about spreading too thin by pursuing them all but all have significant potential. This is really random but does anyone else have a dog that is always moving their bed around and throwing pillows off of furniture? Before I started wfh, I used to always think my dog couldn’t really be dragging her bed across the room, but now I catch her doing it when she thinks I’m not looking. I say “no” when I catch her but she grumbles like leave me alone and continues to move it lol.
