Get an industry job. Firms have timesheets for a reason.

I can’t even find a small firm that doesn’t do timesheets. Still very much a billable hour business model world, I’m afraid.

Let’s talk comp — I’m a remote head of recruitment with 6 years of experience being paid 75K base plus bonuses that got me to 90K this year. I’m interviewing for other jobs, and have a potential offer at $130K base. Any idea what the market is like? Is seems like anything between 72K and $250K is possible. I have no idea what to ask companies for.

While most teachers are protected by teacher unions, I feel my voice hasn’t been heard at all with my concerns of going back to school next week. Our diocese has decided on full return 5 days/ week for all 42 schools despite a recent increase in COVID in our communities. Every other school that I know of in my state is either choosing remote learning to start the year or a hybrid approach, yet that was not an option for us. Are other Catholic schools I. The same boat? Stay safe!

Kindly clear my ambiguity as I have been told by hr that Publicis Sapient will provide permanent wfh forever. Is this true, as per my surfing this seems fishy ?
Thanks!

Curious what current breakdown is: Are you remote? Hybrid? In office?

WFH parents - what’s your routine and how old are your kids? Struggling to find one for me.

Still WFH? What are other chambers doing for task management? Our chambers has been keeping up with assignments, incoming emails needing judge’s eyes, and written orders, all through Microsoft Planner. We share PDFs through Sharepoint folders. Although we still email draft orders back and forth, the system seems to work well enough. We still aren’t operating at our previous capacity because it takes 10x the number of steps to get a motion heard or an order entered—90% of our workload.
