Have you ever considered going into recruiting? You would need to have an accounting knowledge base so that you can adequately place candidates, it's a very people oriented profession, you generally don't work weekends, and I believe it pays pretty well. Full disclosure, I am not a recruiter myself as I don't think that I have the personality for it but it sounds like something you may want to consider based on the information that you have provided. Just a thought.
Are you aiming at exiting as a senior?
Left big 4 prior to senior. Not worth sticking it out if you hate it. Either stick it out to manager or quit wasting your time (that said I would recommend 2 years before leaving or at least 2 busy seasons) and make a move.
You could look at non-profit grant/development. Grant tracking would utilize the accounting background while the extrovert could thrive building relationships to move the organization forward while developing donors.
…probably not as lucrative as public accounting
You can look into technical accounting. I’m in SEC reporting at a bank and the technical accounting team has somewhat of a client facing nature since they interact with various teams/auditors to present their opinions on accounting guidance.

Accounting advisory is pretty appealing if you’re an extrovert and like money
Sounds like you would be a good fit for consulting. And sounds like you are still early enough in your career to decide if that should be accounting advisory, management consulting, or another type of consulting work. Biggest difference is being a client advocate rather than auditing your client. A lot of relationship building to put forward a work product for/with the client.
You could go straight to BD but typically you should do the work before selling it full time to be successful.
The higher up you are the more you interact with others vs. grinding through workpapers. You're an associate? Give it time
