Any Scrum masters on H1B visa working full time?
It’s saddening to see companies backing out when you tell them you are on a work visa.

Total YOE: 5.2 years (includes 2.8 years for SAFe Scrum master (current), 9 months of Junior Java developer and 1.10 years of BA/Customer service lead experience).

I am working on getting my PMI-ACP and PMP Certs soon so I would eventually pivot but for now I am looking for a Scrum master position.

And please no negative comment about the SM role.

Having tough time deciding between IB & Consulting. My thought process: I have a "better" background for IB (TAS/valuation) and with tech layoffs, this might push more potential would-be tech applications to pursue consulting (there by increased competition)? Additionally, you can do IB intern and full time consulting but not vice versa. I prefer consulting, but IB seems like the "safer" option? And if consulting does get hit hard, I would hopefully have a full time IB offer via internship.

2.Is senior specialist level above the manager level in terms of payscale/destination?
3.What does working in salesforce vertical looks like & onshore opp. for US visa holders?
4.Avg hike / variable pay per year?
5.What is the notice period in LTI?
6.Any hidden components included in salary that can be avoided or restructed before joining?
7.What can be avg hike for 9 yrs of Exp in senior specialist track?

Hi all- My SO is currently at a Big4 & was initially preparing for S&O roles at GCP but given the high number of ex MBB consultants hired, they believe its just more competition to get the offer & to eventually get promoted over time.

I was a contractor for a big company and they just let me know that my last day is December 30th. I got this position thanks to a recruiting company that has been great and gives me benefits.
