Have you considered getting your clothes tailored? You can find some really affordable services if you know where to look and when it comes to accentuating your natural features, it's all about getting the fit just right. Something I like to do is finding girls on Instagram that have a similar body type to mine and seeing what kind of clothes they look good in,
Love that idea!
I got great work outfits from Stitchfix. I described what I needed and they sent options. If something didn’t work I’d return it and try something else. I felt more fashionable than I ever had before in my career.
Don’t you find the subscription cost on top of buying the clothes costly?
I get it. I am the same way. I’m short and small, but a little curvy in the legs/butt/hips. If you wear something too loose you feel sloppy, but if you wear something too fitting it can appear like you’re doing too much. My typical go to is pants with heels and a “light” button down top with a cami under, like The Portofino shirt from Express. They are light enough for summer and I can roll the sleeves up, then just put a blazer or cardigan over them in winter.
Exactly! Someone who feels my pain.
I can’t do button up shirts because I have a larger chest too, and I’ve had issues with pulling at the buttons, or I’m swimming in it.
