Ok be honest, candidates. I really love this set of questions, I’ve been considering shifting my current interview style to these questions - I think they really give you an idea of who this person would be within the work setting. But the questions almost feel too deep for a recruiter to ask. What would you think if a recruiter took a different path and asked these questions instead of the usual ones?

Do you think anyone will be hiring at this time?
Hi all! I’m looking to connect with folks who either work at Coinbase or have interviewed recently for the Business Operations and Strategy Manager or similar role. I am looking to schedule my first interview which I believe is a consulting style case. So any details you can provide, I am all ears. The next interview will be a presentation. Again if you have any experience/advice on this, I’m ready to listen.
Thanks in advance! Help me escape Deloitte pleaseeee. I want this job sooo much!

If you have that many interviews lined up just hold out a little longer. ALWAYS better to not quit first unless you’re really dying. People will always assume you got fired or something
Also if you work at IBM it takes a minimum 60 days to get fired based on performance. Just fyi 🤓
OK thanks fellow fishes.... Shall just power through a bit longer!!
Not by choice 😬 but I basically was laid off without anything lined up and I had 4 interviews but no offers within the next month. It’s not ideal. Would have preferred to have an offer in hand before leaving
Bro or Bra - I did. I had six months of runway (not touching 401K). Took a five month hiatus from the real world (no kids, wife). Doing it before 4Q wasn’t a great idea because no one was hiring but I ended up in consulting.
C1 can you share how you networked/ applied to find a new job? Even if it was consulting what did you do?
I've been working with product Gym in NYC... They have classes and career services too!
Hired a resume writer to update an format my existing. She also updated and did a mini SEO project on my LinkedIn. Then used Linked in for job hunting. Got a few interviews from that and was eventually contacted by a recruiter at a firm. Came from industry
C1 was the money you spent hiring a resume builder worth it? Do you think it made a difference in the number of recruiters that reached out to you?
OP if you don't mind sharing where did you hire your resume writer? I've been considering this option but have heard mixed reviews from different people
OP - can you share the resume writer contact info/website? Also headed into PM, but know there are a bunch of phony services out there.
D2 that's how I got 6 interviews this week... If you work with a resume writer that knows what they are doing you will be golden
D2 I'm trying to get into product management so I worked with a specific person in NYC.... Honestly just Googled the specific industry I wanted to break into and I got lucky I guess :/
For me the money was well worth it. Have gotten loads of compliments on resume from recruiters. Updating was a barrier to me searching for work - I’d just keep putting of starting a job hunt and used an outdated resume as an excuse so removing that barrier was helpful
