I am very pregnant, due October 19th. I also have been applying at other firms because I am desperate to relocate and get out of my practice area. I never get bites, so my motto has just been, well, might as well apply, regardless of pregnancy. But I just got an interview invite to one of my top pick firms! Any advice on how to handle it? It will be a zoom interview, so I can hide the pregnancy, but I'm not even sure if that's the best route. Help me figure out my life, please! 😁

I got a call from a Bain recruiter I’ve talked to a few weeks ago to apply for their AC class. I’m about a year and a half into the workforce now and have considered looking at BCG & McK as well as a few other boutiques (I had interviewed with one or two as an undergrad but didn’t receive an offer).

However, I just started a new job I do like (about 5 months in) after having a job for almost a year before leaving. Management consulting is the dream but would y’all move so soon?

Helping a friend with a grad school application and it is really making me realize how much we (as PoC) can struggle with professionalism basics - e.g., how to conduct yourself in an interview, email, wtf are the mysterious right answers to interview questions/application questions etc. May be you don’t realize you’re doing it wrong and then are confused/disappointed when your work/apps go unnoticed despite your seeming to be a good candidate (contd in comments)

I have been offered a role as a specilist into pmo team... The offer they made is 16 lpa including variable and my joining is in the first week of sept. It's been more than a week and I haven't got the offer letter yet.
Wanted to know if it's the right offer and is there a structured training program (KT)? Also will I be given a project or I need be on bench and go though the project based interview again?

Current pay - 12.5 lpa inc variable of 10%
