Interviewing for KPMG M&A tomorrow, any tips?
Does anyone know if major corporations like Bank of America and Wells Fargo are actually hiring over the next 4 months? They both seem to have a lot of job postings but not sure if they are just putting them out there to end up writing them off at the end of the financial year. Also, interested in the current work climate at the Charlotte Metro offices, any opinions would be great Bank of America Wells Fargo

I must be on some random list because I keep getting emails about occupational therapist roles in my area. No idea why.
Can’t be worse than big 4 right?
As a staff 1 a recruiter called me pitching a controller role. I should’ve taken it.
This happened to me today!!
Maybe they think you are feeling like you want to take a step back? lol I get them for associate or analysts roles and laugh and laugh, then think, hmm maybe.

Yes all the time. It’s annoying. Also I hate that they all say that they have competitive pay but no $amount. Like tell me the role, pay, and hours and I’ll consider it. Otherwise don’t waste my time.
I hate it. “You seem like a perfect fit for this PE Tax Director role. Minimum ten years experience and JD/LLM preferred.” I am literally an advisory senior with 2.5 years experience and never worked in tax.
Got a nice email for an audit senior associate job that would be “PERFECT for someone with my experience.”
I am a tax SM, with zero experience in audit
Cast a big enough net and maybe eventually catch something.
I get an email blast for remote tax jobs from the same people basically at the same time from the same recruiting agency at least once a week. It’s kinda funny since it’s the same exact message just from multiple different names. I’m sure anyone who actually would consider it would be put off by the bot like recruiting system.
A recruiter contacted me on LinkedIn asking if I wanted one of my former jobs.... clearly they didn't understand the assignment
Lmao i got one from some random head hunter on LinkedIn where they "couldn't reveal the company name yet" but it was 100% for the company i currently work for based on his description... My LinkedIn employment history is up to date... They don't even read first lol
I get junior auditor or junior accountant role all the time too. Sometimes a controller role will come by too
A Big4 recruiter emailed me about positions open "at every level" from Associate to Director... Was I supposed to pick one? Could we maybe add partner to the list?
