I have no kids and feel this way.
Seems pretty reasonable reaction to the world around us right now, tbh
Holy yes I feel this

When that happened it was because my thyroid levels were low and I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism.
Wasn’t eating enough Whole Foods (non processed, organic veggies and fruits)
Wasn’t exercising consistently
Wasn’t drinking enough water
Wasn’t reflecting/dealing with mental health
Fixed all of those with the help of a wholistic Medical doctor and thyroid levels went back to normal and got off the meds

How long ago were you tested? Hormone levels fluctuate, so if you were already on the low end, might be beneficial to get another full blood test
Brain fog is a symptom of a greater issue that you won’t get the answer to on here. Unlike widely held sentiment that it’s “normal” or “part of growing up”, it’s not.

I read something that said it’s because we have fight, flight or freeze response and we can’t decide on which is best response to a pandemic.
I honestly just have a goal to get two things done each day.

I’ve had luck with pranayama and cold showers. Without these my brain fogs up. For Pranayama: Look up Ego Eradicator on YouTube, 3 minutes of that will change your blood chemistry immediately. No joke! (It is not super hard but it’s not easy either.) Cold showers activate the epithelial cells and cause the blood to flush the organs clean, also resetting the blood chemistry and detoxing the body. Also not hard but not easy. Try and do a few minutes but even a few seconds is good. (Pro tip: don’t let the cold water hit the top of your head, according to the yogis.)

It's this situation...hard to discount the reality even if you're amazing at compartmentalizing.
I'm eating healthier, being more active, reading more, sleeping better, prescribed rx...and still hurts can't shake it. It's frustrating beyond words. Know you're not alone

Exactly! I know I need to work but can’t focus and feel out of it and unmotivated.
