Anyone ever tried prospecting when you find out a company is doing a layoff?

Hello, I was laid off last Friday as a Technical Program Manager. Any advice on what to do or if you know anyone hiring Program Managers / Sr. Program Managers / Technical Program Managers?

I work cross-functionally with 10+ teams in the org mainly supporting Product & Engineering to create and launch product features.

I heard from my head that there is a lot of slowdown in VW Germany... There is Hiring freeze, level freeze and all ... And soon that will spillover to india. So be prepared for very less hikes in coming cycle :( Also automotive sector in general is struggling with tesla laying off 10% workforce recently. Maybe time to make a move? What do you say fishes?

Anyone have any idea when the hiring freeze might end within AWS ProServ? I’m currently at Amazon and have a TS clearance, PMP & CSM. I'm a little confused on Danko - does he offer a self-study option for the coursework requirement? On his website it looks like each module has a 4-day virtual class which I wouldn't be able to attend due to working full time. Does this program also include self-study material, and the classes are just supplementary/optional? I was also looking at Dalton for self-study and Danko for test prep. Thoughts?
