I got a remote L6 SWE offer at Google but the RSUs are too low for that level ($625k over 4 years), could not negotiate it higher. Be careful with TCS. Most of their contracts don’t have a travel budget. So they may make you move near a client. And if a contract ends and you can’t find a new project, they may lay you off. They do pay well, but exit opportunities from TCS may be limited.

Agree with everything that’s been said... used to work for their competitor Infosys and had to run before my career got ruined by pmo roles and IT-only projects...
If getting more money and a promotion is what you’re looking for, you may be better served going into industry - it would save your resume (agree that you don’t want TCS on it) and give you good experience if you want to come back to consulting
TCS price their deals at super low margin by charging same resource on multiple projects. The one that lose out is the resource. Don’t go for TCS.

Depends on where you land ...know colleagues who landed in their Consulting Practice led by Managing Partners from Big 4, Accenture and IBM for what it is worth they seemed happy
