hello! I’m looking to get some insight to see if I’m being paid fairly for where I’m at in my career. I’ve worked at the same company for 2.5 years. This is my first job out of college. Started as an HR Admin, basically in a call center for all HR related inquiries and now am a Sr Admin assisting with escalations, interviewing, training new hires, supporting my team, scheduling, keeping track of stats- phone calls, tickets resolved, etc. I’m making $52k per year and work remote out of MA.

Any insights on BX London? Specifically the credit platform (ie the ex GSO guys). Culture/comp/near term roadmap?

I am curious how other inclusion teachers are being utilized when the school is doing remote learning. I find that I am sitting in the zoom class and have very little opportunity to contribute. I am having discussions with my teachers on ways that I can better support them and the students when remote.

Out of curiosity and to test the market, I interviewed at a FAANG. Did not get the job, but found out TC was 350k, significantly higher than my TC 230k. I’m having trouble working in Tax. I’m overwhelmed and am feeling like I’m not producing my best work. For anyone who is burnt out and looking to leave big law and go to a midsize, do your research. I was one of those people and I can tell you the grass is NOT greener on the other side. It’s a myth. In retrospect, I should’ve stayed and set better boundaries and not have taken this 35% pay cut.
