Whats your salary and how much experience do you have?
Do you have to work weekends? If your company has tiers, what tier are you? What's your workday like?

Just accepted a position with a new company at 65k. 1 year as an adjuster ,11 years in insurance with no degree.

I just accepted a new position with a new carrier. $80k with a decent bonus structure. Commercial/Litigation. There is at least one position over me before leadership. 5 years as a BI adjuster. Monday-Friday. Hope that helps.

like

62k - 2 years experience - no weekends - mid tier rep. as a specialty adjuster my work day varies but most are manageable. when they’re not, my leadership is great about helping out.

like

Oh awesome. I understand now. Thank you

I left claims a month ago but my insight:
65k + 3-10% bonus, 3 years
No weekends but we are salary so I knew many people who still would login every once & awhile to work their files
I was a senior so we were considered mid-tier, entry level would be right under us but no direct reports

Well, I’m new to claims and by desk auto adjuster you mean that you don’t go out on the field? If so, that’s the job I got. Starting $25.83 training then 3% raise after training of 20 weeks. 5% annual bonus. Monday to Friday.

I haven’t started yet. Onboarding is September 12.

50K a year. 0 experience. Salaried, non exempt

56k 9 years experience

71k -10 years

Started with Progressive 10 years ago at $45k then got to Special line 3 years later and made $72k before I left to another company for $80k as a liability adjuster. Exempt employee and expected working hours also 9-5 and complete remote

Has anyone ever asked to renegotiate their salary after starting a job? I’m 2 months into my new job and I have far more responsibilities than what I was told. It’s a lot different than what was relayed in the posting and during the interviews. Additionally, they hired my counter part in as a senior manager which is at least $30k more than what I make. My peer has more experience so I expect that but I feel that I should be paid more, however I don’t want to leave a bad impression… any advice?
