I did. But very glad to start at mid-tier to get more deal reps and be involved in all aspects of the deal. The staff and seniors at Big 4 seem completely lost on these huge deals.
Larger deals there will usually be a SM in addition to M and we’ll split responsibilities for Management meetings. As senior, you can definitely lead certain calls if you’re a strong performer but many seniors are not yet ready.
I didn’t find it to be that big of a difference honestly.

I did. RSM to KPMG. Much happier and better paid here. It can be rough anytime you enter a new organization though.
I did the opposite. It will be a harsh learning curve. Reward is bigger deals and a step up overall experience. The downside is your work-like balance.
The latter :)
I just did and the transition wasn't that bad. Biggest differences I've noticed are more fire drills, more focus on presentation, and partners generally pushing for tighter deadlines. The people I've worked with have been great though and for the most part always willing to help.
Thanks I’m glad your experience has been good. I feel like TAS is already a fast paced job, the people really make or break the experience. Can I ask which region are you in?
Yes

Just curious, why would you want to make this transition?
I’m still debating it. I know ultimately I don’t want to stay in PA and have no desire to be a partner. I think I have a few more years of the grind left in me, so I was thinking about making the switch primarily for the B4 brand name. I was thinking exit ops might be better with B4 on my resume rather than a middle tier firm.
