I have received offer from Shell and SAP labs is in final stage salary discussion. Shell is offering 6 lacs more than @SAP labs. I have tried to negotiate a lot from SAP but they are not ready. Amex people thoughts on this offer, as I have recently(4 months back) joined a startup with Base(33) and CTC(35.5) but not enjoying the work here. Amex brand tag and culture is good.
Hence, considering the offer, does this offer look good or is there any scope of improvement? Amex American Express

Hey @OP Left ACN for Cap
Pro's so far
- Cap is *much more* relaxed overall and the resource managers actually are held accountable to find you a role. People are generally not as douchey
- There isn't as much pressure to be in the office you pretty much do your own thing. That's exciting for me because there's space to create something new.
Con's so far
- Cap's tools/processes aren't as slick as Accenture's and they aren't as organized. Accenture's KX blows Cap's out the water.
Ultimately though, they're very similar. Leadership at both don't really care about their employees, people bullshit/lie all the time. The promotion process is shitty (from what I'm told). Accenture is just much more rigid. That comes with perks and cons. Depends on what you want .
Am not coming from Accenture, but what SC1 says sounds spot on: everything seems a lot less structured and more informal. Depending on your project manager that goes for expenses too, which can be very, very nice. Promotions can seem very subjective and depend on who you have visibility to, rather than some objective criteria. No lay-offs or up-and-out tho, which I hear happens at ACN. Salaries are probably also less than they should be...
Downgrade apparently
Salaries are less than what they should be lol. I could say the same for Accenture
