I have offer from Nagarro for 32 LPA(1.6 variable) and another from Turing of 34 LPA (2.5 Variable) I don't want to Join Turing, but can I negotiate with Nagarro based on Turing offer to increase my package? Or is it too risky since I don't have any other offer. What are chances if negotiation fails they(Nagarro) resind the offer?

I am looking to identify committed Christians within Deloitte who would be interested in serving on the US board of a global non-profit committed to restoring the lives of those who have been traumatized via human trafficking or gender-based violence in SE Asia. Deloitte has been instrumental in partnering with Hagar International via pro-bono consulting and we would love to leverage this partnership on our US board.

Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

Before reaching out to anyone, you should be prepared to leave if they don’t match.
^ This. And make it sound like they came to you and you got swept up in the process. I've done this three times. First time went to my coach, then other two directly to the partner.
However most of my career I've been a Tier 1 the odd T2...had colleagues try it and get no offer. So as D mentioned above be prepared to take the offer.
Depends. If it was me and I had an offer, I would chat with my project lead, PL, and HR.
I'm doing this for one of my reports. They had already turned down the offer (didn't want to move and didn't make sense for their spouse to leave their job).
Told my report we should still try to use it to get them a raise.
Yes!
I got an offer from another company and went to my people lead. 24 hours later got a big raise and a retention bonus.
So basically they admitted they had been undervaluing you.
That is a very rookie move to make. Think of it this way: if you were dating and you get hit on by a more attractive person. Would you use that as “leverage” in your existing relationship? Either improve/optimize your existing employer relationship/ comp or take the new offer. But don’t use the offer as a threat. It typically breaks the relationship permanently.
What’s the diff between leverage and optimize
Just leave. Even if they give you an immediate raise, it means your future raises will be smaller than average to bring you on par with peers... If you want more money than your company is paying now, they are not valuing you the same as you are valuing yourself.
Also was able to leverage offer in getting more of the experience i wanted. It’s absolutely worth a try. Definitely don’t “just leave” as said above, for some of the reasons also said above, building a network and political capital is important
What industries?
Feel like this is going to be a case-by-case basis based on your relationships. I did it, ended up staying, but switching offices, and I would have approached it entirely differently at office 2 than i had done at office 1 given the environment/cultural differences. So I don’t think there will be a straight answer here. Not the question asked, but just some unsolicited advice on something related, if you’re going to bring this offer up to use as leverage, be sure it’s an offer that you’d actually be willing to leave your company for. Certainly a chance your company would say they can’t do anything and if you end up staying regardless, makes you look less loyal and that you’re always looking for ways out
With today’s inflation rate way above 6%, and many not even getting a raise to meet or exceed this, most companies are not willing up front to give their employees the money to keep them in this unprecedented time. You can have all the connections, relationships and great work you are doing but from what I saw in outcomes-a lot of people were not being valued with their base and bonus. Many are now reevaluating all the plus ones they do and rightfully so! Now some have PLs that didn’t present their people well and this is why they were not valued in the talent outcomes. Honestly, it is one of the drawbacks of our system. If anyone says that is the employees fault, I would call BS on that because there are a lot of managers who don’t like being a PL nor do they want to be one.
I am one who doesn’t say countering with an offer is a good idea but if your project lead, PL and HR Partner all wants you to stay then they should do whatever they can to get you to stay. More importantly, you need to know what you need to stay outside of a salary bump. Just like the manager said they are helping a direct report move to another location.
I know several people who have provided offers and get turned down so just remember, you may have to take one of the offers based on the salary and other benefits to decide which offer is the right one for you or if staying is the right move.
All in all, you have to do what’s right for you and your family.
