Yup. I got the Shon Harris “All In One…” read it basically cover to cover and then did a bunch of practice tests where I not only figured out why the correct answer was correct, but also why the wrong answers were wrong. Then read the “11th Hour CISSP” the day before the test. Passed at the 100-question mark (minimum number of questions you have to answer)
I just read a book over 2 weeks. Most answers are obvious if you know the terminology. Take the practice test to know.
I did a boot camp and then went through practice question test bank and notes furiously the day prior.
Boson is really the only thing you need. If you have a decent understanding of security terms and took something like the sec + in the last few years then you’ll do fine. Just take practice tests to relearn the material boson is nice because it also has explanations on what the answer is and will point out why the other answers were wrong so you learn.
Thank you everyone! I’ll have to check out Boson it looks like the new version of exam isn’t coming out until August on Boson but that’s next week so no big deal to wait a week!
