Anyone have thoughts on working at a PE portco? Have an offer as a strategy & bizops associate at a company that is growing rapidly through acquisition. However, I am not sure where this would lead me in my career. The role reports directly to CEO and CFO, as I would basically be their handyman for integration and other tasks. Any insight would be appreciated. Lastly, my YOE is 3.5, if that matters.

Hello, I am in USI GES tax at DUSI. I love my job but not my team and mgmt anymore. I'm a performer and I'm dumped with work of 2 ppl while others are searching for work. I am burned out.

I resigned and accepted a job with EY GDS with a huge pay bump that DUSI can't match but I also gave up my potential promotion for 2023.

I've been feeling bad about putting my papers down and letting go off my promotion but I am really tired. I took up this job as an escape.

Did i do the right thing?

I find all so often you need to tell the client what they want to hear to keep their business and I feel like so much of the what I recommend doesn't actually get implemented.
