Anyone having issues with the EY remote connections this morning?

How is that the Big 4 in the US offers eye watering salary? In London, a SM makes around £90-100k base ($110-122k) while in US (HCOL) it can be easily $180-$200k. Why is there such a huge discrepancy when the cost of living between London and HCOL cities in the US is similar.

Does anyone else have the issue of turbotax duplicating w2's when they make you go through the final review process?

Okay finance gurus, I have an idea and interested in your thoughts. Might be a bad one so be gentle 🙂. I have a 2 yr old and another on the way. Need to start planning for college. I was thinking of buying a condo or 2 in lieu of saving and selling them down the line for tuition. Condos downtown are pretty inexpensive (T3) so it’s financially feasible. But is this a good idea or too risky?

Have any of you dated someone who made less than you and noticed insecurities/behaviors from them as a result? First time seeing someone who makes less (he is also finishing up school) - but want to make him feel comfortable. He told me he prefers to go 50/50 on things already.

SA friend: there is nothing wrong w using the passive voice, but even if there were, you don’t know how to identify it. Please don’t constantly change “interest began to accrue from…” to “the Notes accrued interest from…” because you think the former is passive—it’s not, bc “accrue” here is an active intransitive verb. So you’re misapplying your own misinformed rule and messing up my document in the process :/
