I’ve worked at the same well known tech company since I graduated school 8 years ago. I’ve been promoted 3 times so I’ve held a few different jobs within my org.

BUT .. I’ve applied to a few companies and getting no responses. Is it a deterrent for hiring managers/recruiters that my experience is based primarily at one company?

I’ve joined toastmasters to work on my public speaking and communication skills in general + I practice interview questions before interviews. Im interviewing for an internal promotion at my current employer. I’ve previously expressed a lot of interest in this specific role and it’s well known throughout my division my interest. Even though I’ve conducted informational interviews before now to get a feel of the role, now that I’m going through the full interview process, it doesn’t seem like what I want to do any more. I’m considering withdrawing my application, but I’m afraid of the optics and future career at this company. Thoughts?

Hi Fishes... I have cleared interview with Wipro and while uploading the documents i uploade document but they mentioned LOA & education certificate are incorrect so i re-uploaded them but again they mentioned LOA is incorrect.. so i connected with the person who sent me the link to upload the doc but no help from her.. i tried to open the link today (17th March) evening but the link was not opening... what will be the next step.. how can i upload it again.. Interview tomorrow for a tax associate opening at RSM. Been working in a mid-size city (different firm) that is about 70 minutes from this new home office in a larger metro. How flexible is WFH or dual model going forward post Covid? Am interested in this position and going to tax, but not be able to relocate for family reasons. Don’t want to drive 700 miles per week M-F. What will dual model be like going forward? 1-2 times week, 4-5 month? Seems like tax was more flexible than audit pre-Covid

So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me. I got an offer from Infosys. My manager says they will retain me by providing the same offer what I got in Infosys, i have put my resignation and my manager is calling me on weekly basis and saying that he is talking with senior leadership.
