After every busy season, I think about leaving public accounting and/or the firm. I have 5+ years in tax. Anyone switch to audit/consulting from tax? Any remote jobs hiring in NY? Tax, audit, anything

I have an accounting degree and am looking for something where I spend most of my time using excel. Surprisingly, audit —at least at my company— doesn’t really do that. Any suggestions would be helpful.
