1) be sure going into the interview that you can concisely explain quality or earnings, working capital and debt like analyses and why our clients care.
2) Have a concise elevator pitch for why you want to do FDD and what got you interested / what is particularly relevant from your audit experience
3) Be yourself and don’t get psyched about the interview. Working in FDD means a lot of time on the road with people so fit is very important (just as important for you as it is for us).

We are not looking for any private information, but more anecdotal evidence of issues that can be improved.

I feel I'm doing very well (in the role and with comp $57 base + commission = ~$91k last year) BUT I feel stuck!! I'm feeling undervalued and unchallenged. I think I'd love corporate recruiting/TA Specialist, etc. How do I make the jump? Should I just keep truckin??

I currently work as a Contracted Software Engineer and I’m set to finish my contracted time at the end of October. To stay ahead of game I started to move forward in the interview process with another opportunity as an Application Software Programmer and just received notification that I got the position. I definitely could use the extra paycheck to help out with my financial obligations. Just wanted to see if anyone has done this before.

Got an offer from a big bank’s operation department (fund reporting analyst), currently at EY faas and I’m not happy here, should I stick it out here until I get promotion or jump now? The salary offered is about the same I get now ( a few K higher). but I’m worried about flexibility (not as many vacations, promotions) if I jump to industry :(

I hate to see good people go because of money. Why don't the firms just pay them more? It's almost impossible to find new replacement managers and so it would be worth it to pay up.
