The rental place and property under loan are in same city.. Parents stay in rental ( I pay rent) and I have purchased new flat in same city for myself.

I will join EY this June and just wondering if this is ok in terms of the independence rule. I guess the apartment will put my deposit in some sort of funds. Anyone with EY has experience? Reading the independence brochure, looks like it does not specify something related to this scenario but just wanted to confirm . TIA!

SP mentally checked out, to the point that co-counsel was asking what SP was doing/if SP was okay. I ended up handling most everything.
