Not sure about the answer to your first question but there isn't cross staffing since the work we do is pretty different. There might sometimes be a project where Parthenon does the first piece and then another EY team will use their expertise for another phase of the project where we won't be involved. Those are pretty interesting.
Thanks, Manager1. As a point of reference, ManagementConsulted is stating that 1st year out of MBA is $170K base and bonus is ~$9K... So they are shifting bonus into base. I am curious if the compensation is structured the same at other levels.
SF has been traveling a ton for TMT strat. Other offices are traveling for healthcare and consumer strategy too.
Thanks for the info. Are you guys still doing two projects at a time? Do you travel to both client sites each week?
I know regular EY Advisory Managers make 140-185 depending on years at level. I'd think Parthenon would make more.
No travel to client site (mostly PE work.. 3 week long projects ) and yeah still doing 2 cases at a time for most types of projects. Base very high but minimal end year bonus. 170 base for MBA is accurate with 30-40 signing.
Bonus is 6% of base for a 4 and 12% for a 5 I believe
I'd argue that travel is increasing but never 2 client sites in a week. Usually you're single staffed if you're traveling weekly.
(bonus at 1YC level...not sure about higher but I've heard the base/bonus split becomes more heavily bonus though still not to the degree of most other firms. Curious how long that will last given it gives EY less flexibility in bad years, but it's good for us!)
P-EY2... What kinds of projects have you been doing? I'm guessing Ed
