Bain & Company Hello Fishes.
What is the average CTC offered for a Research Associate with 1 year of experience in Healthcare consulting?
I'm looking forward for opportunities, hence would be great to know the current CTC trends to effectively negotiate with the employer.
Thanks in advance!

Try MedRisk. I am a current employee and there are positions open in customer advocacy that deal with clients. I think there are billing related roles open in other departments too. It’s mostly remote as I have coworkers in PA and Florida. If you live close enough to the office you will need to go in once a month. My team is great, great work culture, and easy job. Only downside is pay is not the best which is the only reason I’m leaving after working there for four years.
Do you have a link?
There are plenty of insurance companies looking for remote entry-level positions for insurance agents online progressive as one. And it is remote. You may want to look at pay for all of them.
yeah you may have to go on a bunch of interiews to figure out if company hiring actual budget to support the job posting...recommend medium to large size companies.. startups may be running on fumes or irrational business plan... Good Luck to you!!
I know how frustrating it can be applying to insurance claims roles and feeling like you’re not getting anywhere—especially when you’re ready to bring real value and just need the right opportunity.
If you’re open to exploring another side of the insurance industry, I’d love to share what we’re doing at AO Globe Life. It’s fully remote, no cold calling, no door-to-door, and no lead buying. No experience is needed, and all the training is provided. Plus, there’s real growth potential with uncapped income and residuals over time.
I can send over a quick overview video if you’re curious—it might be a different path, but it could end up being the right one.
Nothing worth it is ever easy. If it was everyone would be doing it.
Have you looked on Guardian Life's site as they are looking for claims associates.
I haven’t but I’ll take a look. Thanks!!
Genworth is hiring and it’s remote so PA is fine
I would NOT recommend BCBS. I volunteered to help the claims department on a project (I was a Medicare Supplement Customer Advocate for a year before this project).
The direction I was given, I questioned because they advised me to close out correspondence re medical claims without viewing the correspondence. Think Luigi Mangione!
I was told I was overthinking it, and to just follow instructions give. After a week or two I reached out to the Sup. of Dpt. who said I was correct, and that we SHOULDN'T be closing out inquiries like this and confirmed my concern. The next few days things deteriorated, work was not given to me, communications stopped being sent to me on the project and then I was thanked for my help and told the project was over!
I ended up resigning shortly after because I wasn't interested in their fraud. I tried reporting to several Federal offices and but after a month or so gave up. I emailed proof spilled my guts and the feds were oblivious. I could tell some other horror stories about how very little they care about their employees AND their members. Insurance is a BAD BAD place. For BCBSAZ it is all about $$$ and nothing else!
Hi what state do you live in? A company I work for an interpretations was committing fraud and when I brought it up I was fired. I hired a lawyer who then dealt with the authorities when something like this happens it's a whistleblower case the lawyer presents it to the Attorney general. Then what happens is the attorney general steps in on your behalf as long as you have the proof that you say you have and they don't have to do the legwork that's the route you should go and the lawyer will take it on a contingency. The company was committing fraud against social security, the attorney general and Medicaid in Delaware. The suit was settled at 1.5 million and because I was the person that brought it to their attention AKA whistleblower I received the highest percentage of the 1.5 which was 22%. It may be higher now because this happened in 2016 almost 10 years ago. If I were you and you're not in that area of New Jersey Pennsylvania or New York find an employment lawyer they all should take contingency so that you don't have to pay per hour they get a chunk of your percentage The company could only make a one-time large payment which was split between The agencies they fought it and I. My first check was about $380,000 and then I received $7,000 every 4 months for the next 5 years. Don't call the agencies yourself let the lawyers do it. They have more pull. Good luck but remember there is a depending on the state Statue of limitations, again good luck, just an FYI this wasn't an insurance issue I worked for an interpretation company who provided interpreters to hospitals lawyers, social security because it is the federal law but everyone who doesn't speak English has an absolute right to have an interpreter by them for medical issues and any legal issues. Also I was in charge of sign language as my number one billing language but I did Spanish, Chinese, and Russian as well. My role was assistant billing director. When I refuse to overbuild these companies that's when I got fired and 3 months later the billing director got fired because the company threw her under the bus once they got caught. And I knew that would happen to me if I had agreed to fraudulently build the company for miles and travel. After I got fired she did it and I knew she was going to be thrown under the bus. Sorry for the long post but I hope this helps you!
📢 letting people know your location would help a lot.
Yes, Just an Associates degree.
Try to look for a call center job with insurance and from there you can climb the ladder. That is the way to go.
Why not choose a position in insurance where experience isn’t needed then?
