During the initial call with the recruiter he asked for ny expected CTC and I asked for 17 LPA. Can anyone from PwC comment on this? Hello folks at Uber, I’ve been approached by a recruiter for the role of a Regional Operations Manager - Eats’ Marketplace team. Wondering how this fares against the Strategy and Planning team (which I’m guessing is the most elite Strategy team at Uber). Also, should I be looking out for any other non-engineering teams within Uber that are well known for what they do?

IMO better thing to think about is what the path is to C-suite minus 1-2 levels. If there's a real path to make millions then making relatively less in the short term isn't a big deal
Can't speak to compensation at that level, but as someone who has worked at one of these, be ready for next-level backstabbing, politics, sketchy business behaviors, etc.
That's fair at the individual contributor level, probably. At the exec level, I would be surprised if it was a walk in the park to cut through the politics, positioning, etc. If you're working for the ExCo, you might be better off. Everyone I spoke with that worked there hated it (even C level)
