Anyone missing the office chairs? I don’t have the best office chair at home, so I’m thinking about buying an ergonomic chair...not sure if I’m wasting money or it’s a good investment for covid...

You can get the $1000 chairs for around $500 from websites that buy them from bankrupt offices or have them as “open box”. Hit or miss but got a really nice chair for 25% of the price (50% off on website, 50% off of that from Deloitte’s wellness subsidy).

I’m leaning towards investing in one, but the “best” ones sit at $800-1000...not sure if it’s worth the squeeze...has anyone bought one? Is it worth the price?

That seems expensive tbh. However, don’t do what I did and buy a $100 chair from Staples. They are truly garbage. Best to find something reasonable in the $300-$500 range with high build quality and ergonomics. I’ve seen some Herman Millers on sale for around this price point.

I bought a second-hand Herman Miller Aeron chair for about 500 USD, it was worth every penny.

An office chair is a great investment. Serves as a dual purpose gaming chair for me too ;)

Herman Miller Aeron is the end of the discussion

Hello all, I'm a very green attorney, never tried a single case or even was second or third chair, but managed to land a litigation associate position at a Plaintiff's firm. Does anyone remember their first trial? How did you feel and how did it turn out by comparison? Anything you wish you did differently?
I know in THEORY what the process of trials are but thanks to COVID I haven't been able to observe them in real life so I'm very nervous for the day I finally enter a courtroom.
