I do! Would highly recommend it. Very user-friendly. I put my emergency fund there. They also have a great 13-month no-penalty CD at 2.35% if you want to park some money for a bit while having flexibility to break the CD if needed.
Did. Terrible customer service if you need a fee refunded. They also stop crediting interest in the day you initiate a pull from another bank not the date when it actually pulls out of their account.
Would stay away from their childish looking bank set up. Recommend purepoint for highest savings rate. Their no penalty is 2.5 percent
Thinking about parking some money in their savings account. Anyone wanna share a referral code? PM me thanks!
Use Citi’s Accelerate savings account - 2.36%, easy wires online and through their app, tons of locations nationwide to cash out/manage your account
Orion federal credit union. 4%
You can open unlimited accounts - each account is capped at 30k. Yes, you get deposit insurance.
Automated transfers in/out on a monthly basis. 8 amazon gift card transactions for 50c each.
This is the highest risk free return available from any source I can find.
Vanguard money markets will always beat a bank account.
VMMXX is paying 2.45%
Depending on your tax bracket and state of residence, VUSXX at 2.38% may be a better deal.
Here in CA I use VCTXX, which only pays 1.32% but is completely tax exempt, which for me is equivalent to 2.6%
Not true. Purepoint financial cd paying 2.5 percent was paying 2.6 percent before
That’s a great rate and choice. You might also consider money market type funds that can be bought in any investment account that pay 2.48 and more and not have to go through trivia of opening another account to get a good saving account rate.
