I did weight watchers a long time ago and it worked pretty well, but it still led to me restricting and binging a bit so I backed off. Now I track calories on My Fitness Pal, but I really focus mostly on protein and fiber. I've noticed that working *towards* a goal (like getting 130g protein everyday) is much more effective than just trying to avoid bad foods. but I think out of all of the popular diets of the last 20 years, weight watchers seems like one of the most healthy!

I have considered weight watchers but I am worried that I will be wasting my money because I feel like it would be all too easy to cheat on this type of diet. I need something I can be held to, because my self control is shockingly horrible and I will probably do well all day come home stressed out and ruining all of my progress. But if you have fairly decent willpower weight watchers might be a great program for you. Good luck!
