Boomer. I am in between jobs. Laid off in 10/21 after 16+ yrs, with an ABA firm. RIF. Still on excellent terms. Took my time living off generous package and didn’t seriously start applying until 01/22. Made a rookie mistake and accepted first offer.
Turns out job wasn’t as advertised. Mutual parting of ways 3/22. Due diligence is critical.
Now interviewing a LOT. Some temp work, I still have “it”. I relate to all gens. Willing to mentor AND learn from all. Tech savvy, CTE from day one. Leads?

Got an offer from Kantar Consulting to work on their retail/cpg product.

Now my question is - Is it worth the gamble to leave IBM and join Kantar consulting which btw is known for market research and not consulting.

The job entails not only to bill for dme (cms 1500) but also to follow up on any denials or appeals, amongst other administrative duties. My questions are is it typical to have 1 person doing both the billing and denials within a new vertical for all ins.? Someone on LinkedIn expressed disappointment about the lack of diversity from the big law firms in TX that were posting pics of their summer associates. A managing partner commented that he thought the post might be about a pic he posted (12/14 SAs were white). He tried to defend this by saying that they had LGBT and socioeconomic diversity. The fact that he recognized that his pic might be part of the problem says it all. Law firms need to do better. Sorry, I just wanted to rant.

Tips for getting an MBB interview while in a T15? What goes into the decision making process?

What type of interview will be there for 2.5 year experienced candidate from Data engineering domain to Tableau/Snowflake.
Will they take it as general or specific to our work experience/primary skill.

Is CMA worth getting after getting the CPA? Or is it better to get the CFA. Also don’t have much finance background so I don’t know if I can pass the CFA will require a lot of hard work. Interesting in hearing people’s thoughts.

I have no plans in leaving PA anytime soon but I figure maybe I should look into another certification that holds value and makes me more marketable compared to my peers. Appreciate any thoughts and advice.
