Anyone worked for a Mexico-based client? Curious how you handled the visa/work permit situation. Am looking into doing some independent consulting for one and it’s not clear whether I could travel there without a visa (business visitor) and get paid. Work visa does not seem relevant, since I would not be hired as an employee. Google is surprisingly unhelpful here.

I have! Good luck with change management (if that’s an aspect of what you are looking to do), as end users don’t want to change anything.

Otherwise, great people. Loved working with many of them on the client side.

Hope you speak Spanish!

Yeah, work would be mostly in Spanish.

How’d you deal with immigration stuff? Just enter as a business visitor?

Super easy, I just had to be Mexican.

In all seriousness, though, not sure how you need to handle it, but I would consider two things:

- Mexican government will very likely want to tax that income (but my understanding is there’s a US-MX tax agreement)
- Mexican government is hilariously inept, so likely won’t chase you if you don’t declare income. Of course, this is not legal advice

Hello,

I am planning to move to Belgium to join my husband by end of December 2022.
I was wondering if a dependent can work?

Moreover, what is prospect of me getting a job with visa sponsorship if I start giving interviews now?

Any leads or suggestions are welcomed!!

Thanks in advance

Hello ,

My experience is 1.2 years and I am being offered to move to Oslo,Norway to work from the onsite location.
Is it a good choice to move to Norway? What benefits does a person get when they move to an onsite location ?
Please suggest whether it is a good option to choose an onsite project or stay in India, and switch after some time?

I work for a small agency and manage our internal marketing acct. We had very few processes in place when I started. I’ve since created, implemented, and trained our dept. on project mgmt for clients and am trying to convince the owner to apply those principles to our internal jobs. They are resistant because they just want the work to be done and don’t “want to keep spending money on internal jobs”. I’m confused because we’re doing the work either way and “spending” in labor/resources.

Hi Fishes,
My total experience is 5 in QA, I attended Deloitte interview. First round was technical and it went quite well, they asked lot of theory questions. I answered few and quite I was not sure of answers. She gave feedback like my communication and confidence level is good and project wise I'm having good knowledge and coming to concept wise it's not upto the mark for experience. So my query is will they call me for next round?I really wanna get selected since Deloitte is mydream company

Need to leave for Canada in roughly a month because of US visa expiry but worried about potential travel restrictions in Canada given the bad covid situation. Are there any provinces that are not as hard hit by covid? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

Scenario: US visa expired in 2021. Applied for a Canadian tourist visa to hopefully go for H-1B stamping in Canada once they open appointments.
Biometrics completed. Haven’t received any comm regarding my tourist visa approval. My partner already revived the visa long ago even if we allied together. Could it be because my US visa has expired? The reason I gave for applying for visitor visa was just for tourism purposes.

Hi, I'm an employee at a hotel chain who works remotely. I've been working remotely for over a year now and I love it! The company I work for is very supportive of remote workers, which is great.

But there's one thing that's been bothering me: it's hard to get feedback on my work when I'm not in the office. It would be great if there was some kind of system that let me know how my performance was being evaluated while I'm working on projects from home.

Hello!

I joined Accenture 5 months back as a lateral hire ( Level 11 ) and have been a part of a project since day one.

I am not enjoying my work here, no motivation at all. Dreaded to report to work and having stress and anxiety. My manager is trying to micromanage me as productivity is on the lower side.

Another thing is, I have started to dislike my current tech and no more interested in it.
What are my options here ?
Is project release possible ?
or I have to put down papers ?
