There are lot of mixed reviews about Nagarro.. some folks are saying Nagarro do not fire even in covid the only did the pay cuts and did not fire anyone... where as some folks are saying Nagarro is hiring rigorously more than their projects strength so firing will happen for sure and if you are on bench for more than 1 month you are in red zone as the same happened in past... what is the mystery.. can anyone from Nagarro an honest review about this organization.

USAA has a bowl, it’s company wide and not based off on geographic. You will hear a lot of different things from people either good or bad. Right now, RTO has been the main killer of moral with all the oversight there is when it comes to how many times a week you come into office. Also the changed PTO which has negatively affected people due to the short notice. People plan because it was originally front loaded, that’s not the case anymore. USAA never plans this stuff out and it’s one of my major gripes with the company. It’s a very reactive company when it comes to mostly everything.
Medical is still really good, just increasing a bit but we are moving to Cygna. Not many are too happy about it though.
I do love this company though, just in a bit of a rough patch in terms of what’s going on from an EMG perspective and the fact they really don’t listen to us right now.
It probably won’t impact new hires because they won’t be used to the front loaded that we all were.
What department?
I worked at the plano office for a few years. Engineer to Lead levels are generally fine, most people I saw worked a literally 9-5 and followed Agile/SCRUM method with sprints. 4 planning sessions a year offsite in San Antonio. Weekend and night deployments to avoid disrupting general business. D level and above has some heavy political battles, and I’ve seen turnover because of that.
Don’t do it. Work in the Plano office. The regional offices will never get the job opportunity/advancement of someone in San Antonio; most of your team/leadership will be located in San Antonio. And for DFW, they underpay. By a lot. I’ve been getting hit by recruiters in the area from companies nearby who all pay 30-50% higher in IT, which is why so many data/IT people are leaving. The pay is shit and the benefits used to make up for it, but they’ve turned into shit and now you’re just underpaid for more work and more stress.
