I have a new employee that started last Monday, unfortunately it’s not going to work out. Meaning if my address code is "A123" then all I need to provide to my bank/employer/friend is my code and if the bank/employer/friend mails something to "A123" it would always come to my most up to date mailing address even if I relocate.

Help - how do I fight claims by scammer healthcare providers?

I recently went to 2 different providers.

Dentist, made appt via Zocdoc to see a dentist that was in network. Another dentist at the location saw me instead who was out of network. I have text evidence they said it would be covered before visit. Claim was denied - asking for ~500 dollars.

Saw a specialist who’s office staff verified my insurance would fully cover the claim. Get the claim, says they are out of network. Owe 600.

I’m finding it so hard to be motivated at work. I think it’s a mix of wfh burnout, living at home and not socializing/doing anything new, scope creep on my project leading to long hours, and being intellectually bored. What keeps you in this job? What has motivated you to stay?

Heard frm a friend at pwc that in consulting they have per diems. Is it for all practitioners and practice? Seems tight on budget.

Told a friend of mine in tech I was considering moving to BCG. He asked me if I would have to move to Boston.

I followed up by asking what he thought the top consulting firms were. "I'd guess PwC and then McKinsey are the best. I've also heard of KPMG, Deloitte, and Bain, but I don't know much about them."

Just a reminder that outside our bubble no-one really cares about firm prestige etc.
