Anyone worried about layoffs? I saw a post about Deloitte laying off 5000 employees ... I know EY saying no lay off this year but what about other firms?

I was fired with someone else’s number and never got a proper write up . I was with the company for eight years. I didn’t have a write up before that one. This seems to happen within two months of me reporting my manager for unlawful recruiting practices.

I am not sure what to do. My company just had another round of massive layoffs. So far my job was spared. I do got a job offer from a different company but the salary is way lower than what I have now (20,000$ less). Should I choose for financially stability but with a lower salary, or take the risk, keep the higher salary, but have a high chance to loose it as the company isn’t doing great.

Can't contribute to my company's 401K due to all being Haram. So, I'm stuck with 30 funds that I have to choose from and all of the options have multiple or many companies in their holdings that have above 30% interest bearing debt, interest bearing securities and/or deal with Haram services. I don't want to invest in these funds that hold such companies, but I want to retire. What do I do? Bonus Structures:

Our general targets are 75% util. Billable or qualified non-billable time. Bonuses will be $1000 per quarter just meeting that. $25/ hr for every billable hour beyond that on top.

I failed as a elder brother.
