Anytime one of my elderly cats gets sick, it is late at night and the wait at the emergency vet is 4 hours. Here goes sitting at the emergency vet until 3am and probably paying no less than $1k for tests. I love my little buggers and will do anything for them, but come on!!!

Do you all sometimes feel overwhelmed by all the self care tips you see online. Gua sha, sleeping mask, satin pillowcase, this body wash, that scrub, dermaplaning. I don’t know what I should do vs. what not. 😰 and I feel like if I don’t do it, I’m not taking care of myself and not going to look good a few years later. 😓

Dry skin on your hands after taking stimulants for a while? Anyone get this? Or maybe because of washing hands after going toilet so many times because of drinking loads of water lol

I just started meds yesterday and the change in my focus and attention to detail is mind blowing. My only concern is, just yesterday I had a tough feedback session with my manager around how I’m taking too long to complete my work, giving them anxiety around close deadlines. I’m new in the job (3 months in). Should I explain anything about my adhd to my manager or just wait for them to notice the change in me?

Any thoughts on meditation? Has it helped you?

Very lucky to have a job. Our team of 9 creatives is now 3. I’m working 12-14 hours with a young child who needs me. Salary cuts to come. I just keep thinking, “The best way out is always through”.

Turned down a gig at Apple two years ago because I saw a lot of growth opportunities at my current company and saw the position as a step back (even though it was more money) and have regretted it ever since. Still in the same exact position at the same company I was then btw. Bad choice.
