Hi,
I have attended the final round of interviews at JP Morgan on 28/06/2022, after that He asked me to submit the job posting by July 1st. On July 4th HR sent an email regarding document processing. HR mentioned we have been identified as one of our shortlisted candidates for this position, a final selection is yet to be made.
Usually how much time it takes to get updates from HR? Should I keep hope on this.
PS: My last working day in my current organization is on 19th July.

Unfortunately, sometimes it is a company policy. My mom runs into this problem all the time. She has 30+ YOE but they can’t get around the fact that she doesn’t have a BS. But it’s definitely worth asking.

This is such a dumb rule. Sorry OP.
I got a job at BIG4 without a degree whatsoever.. I would say part of the trick around that is trying to get to know the hiring team before applying - reach out on LinkedIn and ask for a chat, and say something along the lines of you’d like to know more about the team and that you’re sure you’re the right fit.. it’s helped me with 2 BIG4 job interviews, one with Deloitte which I accepted and one with KPMG which I declined..
@D1 I was contacted by the recruiter via LinkedIn. I am not familiar with this team prior to her contact. Should I still ask?
To add some context. My profile shows an incomplete BS degree from 2016. My resume also clearly states it is incomplete so I don't bring it up in the interview process unless they do. Unfortunately, I will not be able to finish due to credit limitations. (I was going to school and working at the same time).
I am applying for a Manager role.
I know it did in cyber four years ago. They wouldn’t let me start until I had a degree. Not sure if that is across all service lines. I imagine non-client facing folks do not require one.
EY said long ago you don’t need a degree to get a job there so just give it a shot anyway
