I did. It was unfortunate but such a toxic environment. Subsequently they lost more people over the same reason. Those who spoke up including myself were gaslit and discouraged from being open and honest about the problematic behaviors on part of the managers. I won’t call them leaders because they do not have the competencies of what I would consider a leader. I’m much happier now and it was worth the gamble.
Yes. Leaders should recognize talent and be a driving force for positive changes that include the correct team of people. If everyone in the room smells BS over and over again. It's time to either complain with the lower rung of work society or find a team that fosters a positive work experience. If it has become a habit of multiple departments upset over a multitude of misbehavior coming from the leadership team, and it is over a period of a year that never eases over time, it may be time to brush up that resume. Consistency matters, management styles can vary, but integrity is steadfast.
Depends on how they are shitty and to what extent.
Yes, especially if they have crossed your boundaries after a reminder. Regardless the situation, their title and power, they still need to treat others with respect.

Absolutely. A bad boss can cripple your career progress and/or make your life hell. If they aren't willing to improve, you'll always be fighting an uphill battle to get anywhere in your career.
Why do you have good relationship/reputation if they are shitty? But short answer is yes. Absolutely a valid reason to jump ship.
Yes.
It says a lot (to me) that you are asking this question. I have been in your situation and I did end up leaving the job (although it wasn't a new job I had been there for many years). The environment was SO toxic it was giving me anxiety, even though none of the negative behavior was directed at me. It still didn't sit right with me and I didn't want to be around it anymore. Leaving ended up being a good decision for me.
How long have you been on the job? Is it worth sticking it out a little longer to avoid a "quick turnaround" on your resume? The job market is an absolute dumpster fire right now, so maybe your best bet is to start looking for something new (because it could take a LONG time to find something) and give notice when the time is right.
I’ve actually been with the firm 8 years and have another job lined up. I have a great reputation and good work life balance (for PA anyways) but my bosses just give me straight anxiety
I work in a very toxic environment.I have so much respect for my boss. However.
I respect myself more
