Depending on what your Service line is. I am in internal audit and I will have both of them.
Subjectively I respect CISA more. Knowing your way around an information system is a big deal.
Have a friend who isn't the sharpest tool in the shed and they passed the CISA with flying colors. I think it's very doable.
CISA is super easy if you have a few months of IT audit experience. I took it after working for 6 months and only did 2 online practice exams. Passed in the top 7%.
Thanks I'm in advisory studying for my CIA now (cause the books were more expensive) but I want to get the CISA after even though I have no IT background
Does anyone know if the CISAis passable if you just study the books with an IT background
OP- Can't go wrong they complement each other nicely and open you up for a lot nor client exposure.
I am confident I can pass my CISA studying for 2 weeks due to 6 months of internal audit. A lot of guys on my team don't even study for it.
Unless you've done both internal and external audits you probably won't pass it by only studying for 2 weeks. It's a tricky exam so you really need to put in work to pass
I do IT SOC reports and internal audits so I have a lot of experience with the key concepts.
Whatever floats your boat but I would say put some time in studying for it by reading the book over and doing the online practice questions. At EY they only reimburse you once, so it would stink to fail and have to pay $700 out of pocket to take the exam again
Don't know how it is at your place ^
Your right 😂
lol I had to do it and trust me it sucked. Wish I just studied more the first time 👎🏼
