Know people + apply to big firm
I did it. My résumé said in bold print “eligible to work without h1b sponsorship” at the bottom. (True). I assured anyone who asked (who didn’t know anything about TN) that I could work legally in the US. When hiring time came, HR knew how to write the TN letter.
Important to note, the letter is not sponsorship and TN is an entry class not a visa.

😂 you keep on confirming what I'm saying. Not sure if you're just trying to win a baseless point or what
My friend Jimmy from Toronto managed to get work here in the US. He was disabled and in a wheelchair early in his career, but miraculously he regained the ability to walk, and transitioned into a music career. I’d say that if Jimmy can do it, anything is possible.
Jimmy the type of dude to clap when the plane lands though

Have you worked in the US before? I doubt visa sponsorship is the reason alone. US companies employ thousands of non-immigrant workers every year, so your case isn't extraordinary in that sense. If anything, being eligible for TN would make if a whole lot easier. Right now, the market is tight even for locals/Americans just the way the economy is. Another reason could be simply not meeting the requirements of the job etc. Networking is the best bet to look for a job
I have not worked in US before. The recruiters are mostly Indians who get confused about Canadians looking at US jobs. For TN status, HR and the recruitment firm still has to be aware that they are putting forward Canadians.
I have never used the other tactic before but I will use it moving forward
