Are there recruiting companies, such as Robert Half and Tek Systems, specifically designed to assist consultants in finding jobs? Many of my friends in IT or finance have utilized companies like Robert Half to aid them in job searches. I'm curious if there are any firms specializing in helping management consultants secure employment?

We stay until 8 or 9 everyday and then at the end of every week my manager tells me to book only 40 hours. It sucks ass and now I have to explain to my counselor why my utilization is so pedestrian...

Can you get fired for having low utilization as a senior? My billable hours this busy season have been much lower than my peers.

During initial onboarding with the firm, does the first week or so count towards utilization or is there somewhat of a grace period?

I am a project coordinator but I do everything under the sun. Created project tracker. Submitti bids, sourcing material, negotiating price on materials, handling post construction inspections, scheduling sub contractors, notifying stakeholders, coordinating with construction managers - property owners - building management.
