As a young consultant only 2 or so years into my career, who has lost a ton of money in the stock market (for me) and has had a few friends get laid off...can someone tell me everything is going to be alright

To everyone that’s been laid off I just want y’all to know that I’m with you. That is why I’m doing the bare minimum until it’s my time to go.

When do I begin adjusting? It’s been 4 months. I joined as an associate and I feel like sometimes my work is sloppy or I’m overwhelmed. I’ve gotten feedback that I’m making progress but that sounds fake. I’ve also gotten feedback that my work is sometimes sloppy. The last report I helped write had a ton of write ups on it. Feels like I’m about to get fired.

I don't yet have been able to get new opportunity somewhere else but I was sure to leave the current company due to unstable work life balance and heavy work load, so how should I further find a new company that has good work life balance and higher salary. When you are on notice period do you tell others that u resigned , or it stays a secret between you and manager till lwd.
