Tips for an upgrade in Vegas?
Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

Eat at the restaurant if you can so you’re not just at client site or hotel lol
The tip is more so about making sure you’re going out and visiting the city you’re traveling to. I have eaten many meals in a hotel room while watching tv when I should have been sitting at a restaurant bar and making the most of it
What’s the motivation for eating in a bed when there’s almost 100% of the time a perfectly good table in the room?
What does it being called a hotel room have to do with everything being done in the bed. If that were the case, there would be no use for any other furniture.
Get a king bed so you can sprawl out
Make sure you have a link to chill with in every city if you are single or an explorer
Get the hotel to hold onto your toiletries bag every week. Get full size shampoo and toothpaste etc and don't travel with it

I leave a small bag with running shoes and a subset of clean clothes.

Call an Uber while you're walking through the terminal, and time it so it arrives as soon as you get to the pickup spot
I do the same
Perhaps somewhat obvious but get TSA pre-check. Global Entry includes pre-check but the interview wait times are insane right now.
