At a boutique firm for just over a year, I know this isn’t the best place for my growth, but a promotion is coming. Am I better of sticking around or try to go to MBB or big 4 at an associate level?

would it look bad to go from UG to 1 yoe in industry to 6 months at tier 2 to starting at mbb? concerned it is too much job hoping that may be looked down upon in mba apps or PE recruiting

Which firms have the fastest career path outside of MBB and T2? I know those are up or out and they must be fast. But are there other firms that are known for promoting quickly? What is the average years to partner at your firm?

Started a new job on January 25, 2021. Reviews and promotion packets are due at the end of the month. You can only submit a review and promotion packet if you’ve been with the company since December 31, 2020. I’ve gotten very positive informal feedback from my manager and other colleagues. Should I push to have a review/promotion packet now even tho it’s only been 3 months?

I joined Accenture January 2020 as a level 11, long story short, I talked to my CC about mid year promotion since January as well as my director. I learned on Friday I’m not up for promotion. My CC tells me because he didn’t see any client input feedback in the PA tool so he didn’t enter anything for promotion. My director tells me he thought I started with Accenture January 2021

If I accept the promotion to Partner/Principal what's the least number of years I could work without it being a financial mistake. I have an opportunity to do something completely unrelated that's my passion, but I feel like that's the wrong decision when I'm this close. The other opportunity should still be there for 2-3 years

My son is entering Kindergarten and his (great but hamstrung) public school can only offer 60-85 minutes per day for remote learning, 3 days per MONTH in-school. Just not feasible for a working mom in this industry. So I met some parents, we hired a private teacher, and I’m rolling with a 4-family homeschool pod.
